How You Can Support Your Child's Learning At Home

Learning doesn't start and end with the school bell. Parents are the first teachers for their children and it's important that their learning continues with parents' support.

But How?

  • Help and discussing your child's homework.
  • Reading with and discussing books / magazines / newspaper articles with your child.
  • Talking about what they are learning in school and sharing the importance of it in the real world.

As a school we run and have run a variety of different parent workshops, where parents can understand how we teach different subject areas and help raise the importance of learning.

If you missed any of these or want a refresher you can access the resources used on this page.

In our curriculum area you will find links to the end of year expectations for years 1-6.

Happy Learning!!
