How You Can Support Your Child's Learning At Home
A child's learning doesn't start and stop with the school bell. As parents you are the first teachers for your children and it's important that your child's learning continues outside of school hours, with your support.
How can you support your child's learning at home?
- by discussing and helping your child to do their homework.
- by reading with your child and discussing books / magazines / newspaper articles with them.
- by talking to your child about what they are learning in school and sharing the importance of it in the real world.
The school regularly runs a variety of different parent workshops, where parents can learn about how we teach different subjects and why a varied curriculum is important to a child's development.
