Swimming Lessons
Swimming lessons are temporarily cancelled due to COVID-19. We hope to be able to resume swimming lessons as soon as it is safe to do so.
Swimming lessons are provided for every child at St Mary Immaculate School, from Reception to Year 6. The school pays for the cost of the actual swimming lessons, but we ask parents for a voluntary contribution of £2 per week to help cover the cost of the transport. All children will still be able to receive swimming lessons regardless of whether their parents pay the voluntary contribution.
All children attending swimming lessons should bring their swimming costume and towel on the dates advertised on the School Diary for their class.
Sports Grant
The Government provides grants to Primary Schools to improve physical education (PE) and sport at school.
