March 2022 - Walk again Hunger CAFOD

We spent the afternoon raising money for CAFOD's ' Walk Against Hunger'. We invited parents to join us to get the whole school community involved in raising money for this cause this Lent.

CAFOD Walk Against Hunger

We were asked by ' Kissing it Better' charity, who works to end the isolation of older people by bringing generations together, to enter an art competition.

The children were asked to draw/ paint / create a picture of a castle. The winning entries will be used to decorate and brighten the halls of Castle Ward in Warwick hospital and in turn brightening the day of the staff, patients and families on this ward.

We are pleased to announce that one of our year 6 children has won this competition. They have won:

2 tickets to Warwick

An Invitation to attend Christmas at the Castle

Their picture will be displayed at Warwick Castle and then moved and displayed on Castle Ward.

Competition Winner - Kissing it Better Charity

Our children have been asked by the SVP society of Warwick again to write Christmas cards for the lonely at this time of year.

The children really enjoy writing these cards with a little picture knowing that they will be bringing joy and happiness to someone who may need it, especially at this time of year.
